Dani Guinsberg makeup artistDani Guinsberg:

The Session School was founded by distinguished professional Make Up Artist Dani Guinsberg. Dani has been working as a freelance make up artist in the fashion, beauty and advertising industry for over 15 years.

Well respected, well known and highly successful, Dani is a popular figure in the industry. Her work features regularly in British Vogue, Teen Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Stella Magazine, ES Magazine, British Cosmopolitan and British Marie Claire (among others). Dani's Advertising clients include Marks & Spencer, New Look, John Lewis, Barry M Cosmetics, BHS, Evans, Debenhams and Faith Shoes.

Dani travels all over the world for her career and is an expert in both beauty and location shoots. She also works on many other exciting projects, including Fashion Shows, Portraits & Pop Promos. By running The Session School Dani brings her wealth of talent and experience to the next generation of make up artists. Liz ArimoroLiz Arimoro

Liz has been working as a highly successful make up artist for over 13 years. She built on her initial experience as a Mac make up artist to develop an extensive freelance career in editorial, advertising, celebrity and catwalk clients.

She has extensive experience in Paris, London and Milan fashion weeks working on the teams for Lanvin, Miu Miu, Prada, Hermes, Paul Smith and Fendi. She also created, designed and headed the team for the Maria Grachvogel show.

Liz shoots for a variety of magazines including; ID Magazine, US Vogue, Arena Homme Plus, Jane, Harpers Bazar, Japanese Elle, Russian Harpers, US Details, and Esquire. Her celebrity clients include; Keri Hilson, Yoko Ono, Iggy Pop, Gwen Stefani, Lilly Allen, Naomi Campbell, Edith Bowman, Orlando Bloom, Daniel Craig, The Saturdays, Charlotte Church, Rufus Wainwright and Beth Ditto.

As a consultant for Clinique, Liz advised on product development and acted as the celebrity make up artist for the brand.


Glenis BaptisteGlenis Baptiste:

Glenis Baptiste has worked as a nail artiste to the stars for over ten years and is now considered one of the most well respected names in the industry. Working with the most prestigious publications, photographers and designers on editorials and advertising campaigns, her work has featured, regularly, in publications such as Vogue, Elle, W magazine and Harper's Bazaar.

Tendering to the hands and feet of A list celebrities is a large part of becoming established, creating looks for famous actors, artists and models alike, these include Nicole Kidman, Christina Aguilera, Victoria Beckham, Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Charlotte Church, Mischa Barton, Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell.

Glenis was spokesperson for Boots No. 7 & from 2004 to 2005, a Sally Hansen Ambassador in 2006, as well as giving something back to the community, by running a beauty training school for under-privileged people,  helping them to gain qualifications as nail technicians.

Glenis' most recent accomplishments include creating a range of Glenis Baptiste tools and treatments for the global company Superdrug as well as the entire nail range for Illamasqua.


Amanda Bell makeup artistAmanda Bell:

Amanda has over 17 years experience working as a make up artist and has worked as a make up artist for editorial, portrait, film and music videos, as well as having a client list from fashion, film and music. Her work appears in publications such as: Grazia, UK and Teen Vogue, Glamour and French & UK Marie Claire.

Amanda has extensive knowledge of the beauty industry, with a range of experience from Product Development, Education, PR and Marketing and has worked in senior roles for such illustrious brands as, NARS, Pixi and Becca.

She is frequently interviewed in magazines around the world to give tips on trends, ingredients and make up application.

Julie Jacobs makeup artistJulie Jacobs:

Julie has been working in the fashion industry for over 10 years, creating and designing looks for runway shows and varied publications including Dazed and Confused, iD, Arena Homme Plus, British Elle, British Vogue, British Marie Claire, Exit, The Face, French Glamour, Greek Vogue, Harpers & Queen, Italian Amica, Italian Elle, Jalouse, L’Uomo Vogue, Nylon , Purple, Rank, Russian Vogue, Spanish Vogue, Sleaze Nation, Teen Vogue , Vogue Nippon, Italian Glamour, Wallpaper, L’Officiel, Jane, British Glamour, etc...

Additionally, Julie also works with a range of celebrities; for their press, PR and promotions. Julie began her career working as a Beauty Therapist in the Harrods salon, Knightsbridge. From there, she went on to work on cruise liners for Steiner salons; travelling to such places as the Caribbean and the Far East. On her return, Julie decided to pursue her career dream of being a Professional Make-Up Artist and began assisting established Professionals on runway shows; such as Prada, Miu Miu, Givenchy, Loewe, Louis Vuitton and Chloe in London, Paris and Milan. Since then, she has built up her own client base and reputation in the Fashion industry to become the outstanding and talented Make Up Artist she is today. Chris SweeneyChris Sweeney:

Chris became a full time session stylist 8 years ago, since then his work has been featured in Vogue (American, Greek, Korean), L’ Uomo Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, Glamour, Grazia, iD, Numero, The Face, Arena, Arena Homme Plus, GQ and GQ Style among others. Chris regularly creates looks for the international catwalk circuit.

Chris began his hairdressing career in Covent Garden, building a solid foundation of salon experience. From there Chris went on to assist on shows including Miu Miu, Chanel, Fendi, Christian Dior, Chloe, Alexander Mcqueen, and Viktor and Rolf.

Chris works with celebrities including Davina McCall, Jerry Hall, Sadie Frost, Roisin Murphy.

Joanna WebbJoanna Webb:

Joanna, is our resident nail specialist. Working within the industry for over 10 years, Joanna has a wide range of experience from both salons and health spas. Throughout Joanna’s career she has worked as a session nail technician working on celebrities, journalists and at London Fashion Week including shows such as Vivienne Westwood Red Label. Joanna has strong relationships with magazine editors and product houses and has worked for numerous magazines including, Vogue and Style, and on a host of advertising campaigns.
In addition to this Joanna works as a freelance journalist, writing a monthly column for the BABTAC member’s magazine Vitality, Scratch, Gloss, Professional Beauty and contributing as a beauty expert for Practical Parenting and All Experts.
