Professional 'How To Create...' Hair Courses

Our new "How To Create..." intensive learning hair courses have been specifically designed to run over a few days, rather than weeks! These courses are perfect for anyone with previous experience or for those already working in the Industry; who would like to increase (or refresh) their Professional hair skills further.

Our 'How To Create...' Hair Courses include:

HOW TO CREATE ... In 5 Days (5 day course) - This course includes: Curling techniques, tonging, setting using heat, Texture-extreme texture, French pleats, Rolls and quiffs, Braids and plaits, Ponytail with pieces. Level: Intermediate to advanced. NB: Students must have some form of previous Hairdressing experience before enrolling on this course.

HOW TO CREATE ... Hair Extensions (3 day course) - This course includes: Hair selection and blending of colours, Glued and clipped in wefts, Half head sewen in weave, Cutting and razoring ends, Making hair pieces, Dressing out. Level: Intermediate to Advanced. NB: Students must have some form of previous Hairdressing experience before enrolling on this course and it would be helpful if this includes cane row plaits (scalp plait).

All our courses run from 10am-6pm (weekdays or at weekends). We offer our courses during weekdays or at weekends, so that anyone may attend, whether in full-time work or already studying elsewhere. From time to time, we will invite visiting specialists from various areas of the hair styling industry to assist with demonstrations and to offer advice, support and further essential information to help our students with their introduction into the exciting world of session work, as we feel it is important to offer our students a wide range of different techniques to learn from.

NB: We would recommend our Foundation Hair Course for beginners with little or no experience!

NB: Hair and Make-Up kits are only included in the price of the Foundation Make-Up or Foundation Hair Courses - they are not included in the price of the HOW TO CREATE HAIR COURSES (including the Basic Bridal Hair & Make-Up course). However, there are plenty products/materials available for use at the School.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Session School is an official National Learning Provider and our Professional Hair Courses & Certificates have been approved, recognised & accredited by Habia. Habia is the government approved standards setting body for hair, beauty, nails, spa therapy, and AfricanCaribbean hairdressing, and creates the standards that form the basis of all qualifications, including NVQs, SVQs and Apprenticeships, as well as Codes of Practice (for more information see: www.habia.org).

Our Professional Hair Certificates are accredited by Habia and these are awarded to all students who have successfully completed our Professional Hair Courses!

FUNDING FOR OUR COURSES:
There are many helpful organisations our students can apply to for funding for any of our courses (please contact us for more information). We strongly advise students to contact these organisations ASAP, as it may take a few weeks for the whole process to be completed, from start to finish.
