The Session School was founded by Dani Guinsberg, Jonathan Long, Ben Cooke & Jennie Roberts.
The Session School differs from a lot of other Make-Up and Hair Schools, in that our Professional courses are run by a team of highly experienced and well-known Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists who work in the heart of the Industry. Our Tutors are in the prime position to offer you the best training and contacts to help start your career within the Industry. At The Session School, we offer an exciting variety of hair and make-up courses that cater for anyone with a passion for working with hair or make-up (with little or no experience..) or for those already working in the Industry who would like to increase their professional skills or refresh their techniques.
Our Professional Foundation Hair and Make-Up Courses are aimed at beginners. These have been designed for students who are interested in training as a Professional HairStylist or Make-Up Artist. There are no qualifications (or even experience) needed to enrol on these courses! The most important quality we look for, is for our students to be 100% dedicated to the Course and to become as confident and practiced in "the Art of Make-Up or Hairstyling" as possible. Our "How To Create..." series of Professional Hair Courses are aimed at anyone who already has a good, basic experience working with hair, such as styling hair as a hobby for friends and family, or who has previous professional hair training or experience. We run Bridal Hair & Make-Up Courses aimed at those who would like to offer their own Specialist Wedding Consultancy or Bridal Service. For more information, please see our Bridal Courses.
Our specialist Make-Up Workshops and Masterclasses are perfect for anyone who would like to perfect either their personal or Professional make-up skills. These classes are run over a few days, to build confidence and perfect techniques in a variety of specialised areas. We also offer Private Make-Up Lessons designed to provide you with personal new skills & techniques to achieve your own flawless makeup.
